Question:

Brake indicator light and battery light on all the time?

Today, while my car was stopped at a red light, my parking brake indicator light and my battery light both went on at the same time, and have stayed on. My battery is relatively new and my car is acting normal otherwise. Is it my alternator? Is it safe to drive until I can get it fixed? I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra.

Answer:

with the battery, i think of that the loaded idle is dropping under a element to the place voltage is under the conventional. as for the brake easy, i do no longer see link to that concept, until you have a quick at the back of the sprint.
They are already basically the same materials. The difference is just what they're built to do. Your average car tire does not need to be able to support that kind of weight or impact, so it's just not built that strong.
It's possible, but not desirable. Cars and airplanes have dramatically different requirements for their tires, so there isn't necessarily any advantage to using the materials in airplane tires in automobile tires. Things like hydroplaning and fire/explosion resistance are vitally important in airplane tires, but they are much less so in automobile tires, for which things like traction are predominant issues. Airplane tires are manufactured and designed to higher standards, too, so making car tires the same way would substantially raise their prices.
First check the fluid level in the master cylinder, this can turn on the brake light, An honest mechanic will tell you this normal. As for the battery light may only be a loose belt.
alternator can be tested for free at most any auto parts store, in or out of the vehicle. battery as well. brakes, how did they feel? was it an ABS warning light or just a brake warning light? if they feel normal and it was just an ABS light, or an ABS light lit in addition to a seperate brake light, it might only be a ABS failure, meaning if you really step on the brakes the tires will lock and slide just like you didnt have ABS. brakes are the most important single system on a vehicle. nothing is worse then not being able to stop. having it towed instead of driving it ensures you dont get into a horrible accident if something bad is really wrong. after brakes, steering/suspension and tires are pretty much tied. good tires help you stop or steer quicker, good suspension/steering keeps the tires in good contact with the ground, helping you stop or steer, and pointing where you need them to go.
