Question:

Bridging two computers' internet?

One of my computers has two internet ports, and I'm trying to bridge the connection into that computer, out of it, and into another computerBut I can't seem to do itCan anyone give me some detailed instructions on what to do? Oh, and if its of any relevance, my have a Windows XP computer (both are), I have DSL internet, a Linksys router, and I'd also like to know the name of that program that lets you jump your mouse from one computer to the next if they are on the same network.

Answer:

The simple answer is that you will NOT save anythingDue to the nature of mass production, big factories produce goods cheaper than you can at home for similar items.
Your going to have to enable ICS (internet connection sharing) and set the allow others to connect to net through this connectionBoth machines have to have the same workgroup nameFirewalls may have to be disabledThere may be a few more steps my feeble mind may be over looking but thats about the main part of it.
