Question:

Cable Shut offbut still get channels.?

I had my cable (DVR box/Digital Cable) shut off, but kept the cable internet, however when I plug the cable into the TV directly from the wall, I get several channels. Is this normal or am I doing something illegal?

Answer:

i think of he does not be attentive to the form or the regulations governing Cable Stations. He (Rockefeller) has no company being a senator and making such stupid comments. purely displaying the phobia ingredient that he and all of the unconventional liberals have now.
no u probably still have the basic cable, the cable company can turn your digital cable off right away.a cable man has to go to your house and shut it off from outside.
Analog Cable is controlled through whats known as a TRAP. Looks like a small cylinder that is meant to block out analog signals. You will keep getting these channels until they run what's known as a TRAP activity on your house. This means they will go outside to the cable box on your house and take install a TRAP. More then likely if you had a DVR box you probably never had one there to begin with. They will put in a Data TRAP. we call it a TRP8 in our company. This type of TRAP only allows data for Internet to go through, but no analog channels. Gone are the days in which you could get High-speed Internet and analog cable for one price. Now you have to buy both to use it. In summary, no your not doing anything illegal.
