Question:

CAKE FROSTING PROBLEM?

I made a birthday cake and the frosting is getting kind of watery on top, it's covered with aluminum foil not that tightly, should I loosely cover it more so air gets to it? Would that make it hard again? But will that dry out the cake? HELP, suggestions on how to cover it and with what would be nice!! Thanks!! The cake was made a day ago

Answer:

This sounds like a good ideaI'm not too experienced in the business, but just make sure you get insurance! Good luck!
it won't dry out the cake! just let it air out a bit, and you can always put more powdered sugar on top of the frosting to harden it moreGood luck!
