It doesn't really throw your ball back at you. The belt picks it up and brings it up onto the roller and then it drops down a 3-4 foot slope and that is what makes the ball speed up to get back to the machine where some rubber wheels with motors rotate the ball up onto the ball rack.
What a waste of 5 points Oh well. I'll answer anyway. You should probably use oranges. Bananas are only good for inside-the-case fires, as their shape allows them to slide into the case through a small slot. Oranges, on the other hand, when thrown at the case (it's a lot easier to throw an orange straight than a banana), will hit the case and knock the fire out. It may take a couple pounds of oranges though. Be prepared to go through your entire fruit collection in order to fight this computer fire. They're not very easily put out
