Question:

can anyone give any solution to this problem? i have loads of flies in my garden, there is no animal waste or?

food out there but this happens every year.the house next door have ivy which has covered our side of one of our fences and we do get a lot of snails in the winter ,could this have anything to do with our problem now?

Answer:

Go to your local home and garden center. There are fly traps available. The one I use is a gallon jug with an attractant that you mix with water. If you leave the trap in a low sunny place, you'll be grossly amazed at the number of flies it will capture. We use one only about every two years because it's so effective. They cost about $10. Good luck.
If there is any rotting material, or smelly stuff nearby, that could be your problem. One solution to having flies is to take a ziplock bag full of water and hang it where there are lots of flies. I tried it, and it seems to be working! Good luck!
lf l had my way l would tax the hell out of owners and exterminate all unwanted dogs.Dogs may be dear to owners but to the rest of us it is a irritating nuesense. When you consider that there is nothing whatsoever to gain from pets for the public. They compete with man for food sheter and vet fees. Unlike cattle they produce zero benefit to the public. All we have to show is dog mess on our pavements, constant noise from barking, and constant fear from attacks.and all that for what?
