The color of the hydrant and the color of the curb are not legally an issue. Because you indicate the hydrant is next to your house, you won't be able to argue you did not know the hydrant was there. As another answer stated, if the fire department needs access to the hydrant, they WILL do whatever they deem necessary to access the hydrant and YOU are liable for any damages. If they decide to SMASH your car with the fire truck, YOU are liable for any damage to the fire truck.
I agree with someone below that Maybelline Shine Sensational lip gloss in Cherry Kiss is awesome. It smells great and adds a red tint. That being said, it is very sheer and I use it more for a nice shiny lip, not for the color. The best red gloss I know of is the Make Up For Ever glossy full couleur extreme shine lip gloss in 1 Red. It is still shiny and not full couleur like the name says, but definitely a fire engine red. I think this is the best red you'll find in a lip gloss because they're never as opaque as lipsticks.
