i am baking a pumpkin crunch pie and i have a glass pan i dont have waxed paper so could i line the pan with aluminum foil

If you use aluminum foil you take the risk of burning your bottomIf you're using it only to keep the pie from sticking, very lightly butter the bottom of the glass panYou'll probably be okay without any thing.
