Question:

Can I change the locks (and possibly ignition) on my car and how much would it cost?

I would like to know if it's possible and how much it would cost to change the locks on a 1985 Mercedes Benz 190E. Also can I change the ignition key thingy?I know it sounds silly, I'm a girl who has no idea about cars

Answer:

As a dental assistant, I definitely prefer to wear a mask and safety glasses. This combination seems to be what we in Ontario opt for.
Making a capacitor that accepts the charge from a lightning bolt in the time it takes a lightning bolt to charge is the hard part. Without the ability to store it at that large of a speed you'll just burn up your capacitor as the charge builds up and jumps across the insulator present in the capacitor (see how a capacitor works in pedia). A lightning rod collects charge and protects buildings and structures by allowing the lightning a safe and quick path to the ground. Lightning occuring in the natural environment can be caused by friction of a gigantic mass of air moving around. We can't possibly recreate natural lightning using natural means without engineering the entire environment! We'd use more energy influencing the environment to generate the lightning than we'd get out of it. The sun plays a gigantic part in the energy cycle of storms and we can't possibly outmatch the sun in energy production (some million nuclear bombs per second worth of energy). In short: we don't have capacitors that have enough storage space or speed to store natural lightning, cannot duplicate the conditions to make true artificial lightning, and have better alternatives relying in solar and nuclear power. Why develop a system for lightning when you have all these other great renewable resources?
I've wondered this myself. I don't believe in the soul concept or whatever because I use common sense to understand that if our brains die after death, how can a soul possibly exist? Without a brain to process sensory information and communicate, what good is a soul? It would be tantamount to mere energy, and nothing more.
