Question:

Can I hook up the iron / steel plumbing pipes to pvc pipes?

I am putting in a new vanity, sink and faucet in Bathroom. The original 1973 pipes are copper, steel and iron. I need to cut the pipe down which is easier to do with pvc. Someone said I need to put in a sleeve??? Is this correct or can I just connect the PVC to the original pipe?

Answer:

Water turns into water vapor (steam) removes heat from the fire and if successful reduces the heat of the fuel below the temperature at which it will continue to burn. Fire needs three things. Fuel, Air, heat.
