Keep the kitchen well ventilated. Fans, windows open, etc If it's in a different room close the door. Considering giving your oven a thorough cleaning. Maybe dust out/clean your smoke alarm too. But smoke alarms aren't programable. I guess you could take it down and put it in another room. But then you might forget to put it back up.
