Is there a paint that easy paints over metal garage door hardware? Ive seen many commercials about the paint that goes over plastic and all kinds of stuff. I should probably take a trip down to the Home Depot, but I was hoping you guys would have some suggestions! :)

Yes, painting is the only option for metal door, I would say matt finish, weather resistant paint would be wonderful. The same brown as the garage door would be perfect I feel... Good luck
There are paints for every application!! They even have spray paint chalkboards (there a hit with my kids)! You'll have no problem finding what you need. Rustoleum (sp?) is a good brand. Since it's spray paint it allows for easy application just ensure that it's for metals and has weather protectant. I've painted lamppost and other metals and haven't needed to prime it first and it's still holding up fine, no rust in sight.
