What kind of answer are you expecting from a place full of animal lovers? I hope those mutts pi$$ on you even though this is clearly a joke topicIf not you're mental.
It doesn't matter if you live in the countryIF you shoot the dogs, you will serve jail time and have a criminal recordPlus, you can be suedThe dog walking onto your property isn't enough cause to warrant shooting it.It isn't worth it.I suggest that you call the police and tell them that the farm dogs aren't being kept on leashes, and are roaming around and causing a noise disturbanceThe police will be forced to do something about the dogs.
You dont really expect someone to say 'Yeah go ahead its ok to shoot those poor dogs' do you? Thats a stupid question, you should never think about hurting or killing any animal! Why dont you take better care of ya car and put it somewhere away from the dogs and the elements!
Techinly speaking it is within your right to shoot the dog, but I get where you are coming from who wants to see a dog get shot bc the owner is dumbHave you told your neighbor your husbands intentions if it happens again? That may helpSometimes animal control sucks in certain areas and the police will likely tell you to shoot the dog( that's how it goes where I live, and I live in the country)I would tell you just to fire a round into the air, that's how we used to get rid of the bears that came into the cherry orchard eating our trees, but as you live in the suburbs that may not be such a good idea, plus you don't want the dog turning on youI would just keep pressing your neighbors saying that they need to control this issue or their dog will end up dead.
Marcia did a great job of answering but to put it shorter: If you have a large volume of anything that is sorted out; it can be recycledIf you have small volumes or it isn't sorted it likely isn't economical.
