Question:

Can I replace Hershey's cocoa with chocolate chips in a fudge recipe?

I've been searching around for a fudge recipe to make tonight that doesn't have marshmallow creme or corn syrup in it, and this sounds good but I don't have the Hershey's cocoaI would imagine I could use chocolate chips instead, but I'm not quite sure how to even out the measurementsAny ideas? Or even a different basic fudge recipe sans marshmallow/corn syrup?Ingredients: 3 cups sugar 2/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa or HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa 1/8 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 cups milk 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Answer:

Take the water that you would use with the cloth, and irrigate the treesIrrigating trees allows them to consume the CO2 and make the paperBut also go with post consumer waste for wipes.
Reusable Toilet Paper
we all have to go at some time in the old days it was news paperit did save trees
Your recipe may not turn out satisfactorilyCocoa is chocolate solids with no fat, sugar or dairyYour recipe AND the chocolate chips both have these, so your kind of doubling-up on those ingredients if you use chipsI doubt a fudge would turn out right is the ratios were off even a littleRegarding the corn syrup: I'm betting the recipe calls for you to make your own syrupYou are going to boil water and sugar to (at least) the syrup stage, right? There are so many types of recipes out thereHere are two that solve all your problems They use chips, but not marshmallow or corn syrupFoolproof Dark Chocolate Fudge Recipe 3 C semisweet chocolate chips 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk dash salt 1 C chopped walnuts 1 1/2 tspvanilla In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and saltRemove from heat; stir in walnuts and vanillaSpread evenly into aluminum foil lined 8 or 9 inch square panChill 2 hours or until firmTurn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squaresStore loosely covered at room temperatureDouble Chocolate Fudge Recipe 2 c (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 (11 1/2 oz) package milk chocolate chips 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk 2 TB cream or milk 2 ts vanilla extract 1 c chopped walnuts (optional) In saucepan, over low heat, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1 TBSP cream and 1 tsp vanillaRemove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup walnutsSpread evenly into foil-lined 9-inch square panIn another saucepan, over low heat, melt milk chocolate chips with remaining sweetened condensed milk, 1 TBSP cream and 1 tsp vanillaRemove from heat; stir in remaining walnutsSpread over fudge in panchill 2 hours or until firmTurn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squaresStore loosely covered at room temperatureMakes about 2 1/2 poundsWell, I guess these are pretty much the sameBut, you set to go.
