can I use a flexi hose to install my gas fire on does it have to be copper piping?
iv got my cooker on flexi but i think that because you have to keep pulling it in and out to clean behind of it. A fire wouldnt need that kind of maintainance, and Im guessing thats maybe the reason behind the normal straight pipe that is used behind a fire. I cant see any reason why the flexi would not be ok for a fire, but my advice to you would be to ask the gas board or a corgi fitter

The natural gas will erode the plastic sleeve inside a Flexi pipe. It is advisable to use copper pipe only.
