My accordion bass keys are shattering and I want to repair them. They are little clear round buttons that look like they are made out of acrylic or something, and the acrylic is shattering leaving a rough surface that is too short to press down and play the bass chord. I was hoping to make a little paper tube around the rough bottom of the key and fill it with casting resin or epoxy to restore the key to the original height (removing the keys from the accordion and getting them back in the right position is extremely complicated and not an option for me). Would this work? I bought some epoxy today (the kind with the plunger and the two tubes) but could not get it to cure hard. Maybe it just takes longer than a few hours? Would casting resin work better for this purpose? It needs to stick to the bottom of the key, and not melt the paper tube or what's left of the plastic key underneath. Thanks for any ideas!

Such utter carnage. surely none have been donning black on a wet night, crossing against the sunshine, jaywalking between autos eg 'preventable' i had to bypass to Vancouver as a customer yet that's putting me off.
