Can i use my computer keyboard for recording midi?

i want to know if i can use my pc keyboard as if it was a midi keyboard or controller? Like in fl studio use the pc keyboard instead of a midi keyboard? can it be possible? need help

Have you tried the keyboard headphone jack directly into the soundcard microfone jack? This works for me. Good luck
Yes, you can. In FL Studio, click the Options menu and make sure Typing keyboard to piano has a check mark next to it (if it doesn't, click it). Open the Channels menu, rollover Add One, and select whatever synth or drum machine you want to use. Now click the record button (to the right of the stop button) and then the play button. You'll hear 4 clicks (the metronome establishing your tempo), and then start playing the keyboard. When you hit stop, your pattern will be displayed. The layout of the computer keyboard is like a piano: q C5, 2 C#5, w D5p E6 z C4, s C#4, x D4? E5 The only hang-up for doing this is that the computer keyboard isn't velocity-sensitive (meaning all the notes will be the same volume, regardless of how hard or soft you hit the keys). Other than that, it's a good, cheap alternative to buying an expensive keyboard. I'm only familiar with this for Fl Studio. I've used other programs, but I don't know if they allow computer keyboard to MIDI recording. They probably do, but it's probably not as
