You want the easy way to do this? Buy a wireless bridgeSetup the bridge to receive your apartments internet, Connect the output of the bridge to the input / WAN of your routerConnect all your machines to your router! DONE! You do need to set your router to a different IP range than the apartment is usingSay they are using the linksys default (most do to lazy to change it) 192.168.1.x Your bridge will get an IP and pass it to your router on that rangeYour inbound will then be 192.168.1.xxx Make your LAN 192.168.10.x so that you are not in conflict with the apartments router! Trust me, it works, I do this daily for wireless clients! Bridges are really the best way for this as they will just pass traffic both ways without ever getting in the way! Linksys has the WET54 etcDlink has the DWL-G810 etc Just use a bridgethey workYou MIGHT get your system to working but you need a switch not a router behind the bridged computer! noduct tape is pretty toughand isnt affected by heat muchunless it is extreme heatbut the only problem is that duct tape can build up static electricity and once anything i mean ANYTHING gets shocked by even the slightest zapits will never work AGAINso i suggest u get some good parts or get pro serviceremembru get what u pay for.
Give me a can of WD-40 and a roll of duct tape and I'll fix anything! No, don't do that! Get a different graphics card, or add a case fan.
