Florida requires the consent of all parties involved before recording the audio of a conversation. Merely posting a sign doesn't not count as their consent. You are free to make a video recording (of the images), but no audio can be recorded unless they consent. If you want to record the audio, just say something like I need you to consent to an audio recording before I open the door and then don't open the door until they say it's okay. If they refuse, then tell them to leave.

Much of police work is interacting with the community and keeping order, and people who share a faith or ethnicity can often connect more quickly with a community.
