Question:

Can lime juice burn the mouth?

I had a sore throat so I read online you can drink a swig of lemon or lime juice to loosen the phlegm. The next day, the corners of my lips were ate away at, the roof of my mouth was peeling, and I had 2 flat white sores inside my jaw. I thought it may be thrush but I'm thinking it may have been the lime juice. Is this possible?

Answer:

if ur looking for the acid flavor, you can use vinger (wine, white)
I okorder
You don't have to use lime to make salsa. Its something that you use when you like the flavor.
I'd just leave out the lime. If you taste it and think it needs more acid, a little white wine vinegar would do the trick.
Just an opinion ... but salsa w/o the specified ingredients - would not be salsa. Tomato sauce with basil is a good start on a pasta sauce though.
