Question:

Can my landlord change my garage door lock without notice?

I signed an agreement that stated I cannot have dogs. In August of last year I had a problem with a crazy guy harassing me in the neighborhood as a result I got two dogs a lab mix and a pomeranian. I have been saving for a deposit and havent told my management company. The other day I went outside to find my property management company taking pictures of my dogs. Today I went out and I think the lock on my garage door has been changed so I can't get any of my things. Aren't they supposed to give me notice before they take any action? I was under the impression we would be able to work something out since this house was originally listed as pet friendly.

what you describe sounds like a recurring problem with tree roots in your main sewer line. If this is the case, yes you will be using your friendly neighborhood rooter person at least once a year OR replace the main line. Older mains are made of, among other things, clay tiles(pipes). Theses pipes are about three feet long which means lots of joints, sometimes joined by common mortar, for tree roots to grow into as they seek water. New lines are of various types of plastic and generally 10 feet in length and joined together with fittings and pipe cement or rubber gaskets. I've never seen roots penetrate pipe cement and only rarely rubber gaskets.
WOw my husband is obsessed with video games but I doubt he would ever meet anyone like that last time he did well let's say something bad happened. But you are not being unreasonable you feel like you are bringing a stranger into your home (and you are) but to your husband he isn't a stranger he is his friend from online. So if your husband chooses that over your feelings it's time to sit down and have a serious talk. Start it with You are setting aside my feelings for your online game buddy what a good communication we have lol you know what to do next. I mean if you are willing to spend the night somewhere else that's pretty serious.
