Question:

Can quartz ceramic crucibles instead of graphite crucibles?

Can quartz ceramic crucibles instead of graphite crucibles?

Answer:

Graphite conducts electricity. Sometimes it takes graphite to heat it, though it is rare, so it can not be replaced
For the time being, I don't know what to replace. Since graphite was chosen, nothing else could be used.
Graphite heat resistance is much higher than that of quartz ceramics; graphite can be more than 2000, while the highest resistant quartz ceramics 1700 degrees.
