Question:

Can quartz crystals be found in underwater caves?

I'm looking to acquire some quartz crystals and was just wondering if they might be in underwater caves, and if so are there underwater caves in lakes and rivers?

Answer:

Zero
negative fifty
Metaphysically speaking, Quartz crystal amplifies all energy it comes into contact with. You can fill it with a particular energy or intent and have it amplify that, but it alone cannot prevent other energies from becoming magnified in its presence. Good stones to protect against negativity are Rose Quarts, Citrine, Amethyst, Stibnite, and Tiger's Eye, all by keeping negativity at bay, with Amethyst and Stibnite being probably the two strongest, especially in conjunction with each other. Stibnite is hard to get and would probably have to be ordered online even if you have a metaphysical store near you. Good stones to absorb and ground negativity are Snowflake obsidian and Black Tourmaline.
