Question:

Can someone explain the reaction?

So I started off by pouring Clorox into a test tube and adding pieces of aluminum foil causing bubbles to formAfter that, I added Heinz Apple Cider vinegar and a white precipitate formedI know it was a precipitate because after adding water the white substance would not dissolveDoes anybody know what happened or at least give an equation representing the reaction?

Answer:

Holy crap! What a long questiom.
Those are the kind of lyrics I can imagine being set to a 13 minute-long Prog-metal song that is mostly instrumental, and apparently that's what you going forThey're not my favorite but not terrible either BQ: Band - Pink Floyd or ELP Album - Atom Heart Mother, In The Court Of The Crimson King, Close To the Edge
First of all, consider yourself luckyYou took bleach, and if it did not all react with the aluminum foil, then the act of adding vinegar would liberate chlorine gas, which is deadlyNaOCl + Al - [product] + H2 gas hint: the aluminum corrodes [product] + CH3COOH - another product hint: you did not finish with aluminum acetate, as that would be soluble.
