Can you expain a Quartz going through the rock cycle? starting from magma?
yes. it isn't easy. Quartz is one of the hardest synthetics to spot with the least amount of concern about it. Hard to interest the GIA in discerning a $20/ct parcel of amethyst from a $1/ct parcel. They use xray crystallography.
