Question:

Can you use aluminum foil to replace baking / cooking paper?

I want to bake cookies today for party tomorrow, but then i just realised i don't have baking / cooking paper! I only have aluminum foil, i was wondering will it work the same if i put butter on top of the aluminum foil? gt;lt; i will be so embarrased if i can't make the cookies in time gt;lt; Please help :(

Answer:

1tape 2tack board and tacks 3slat wall Make sure to use a pencil as an ink pen will loose it's ink due to gravity.
I don't know about hanging paper, but you can buy paint that you can write on and erase.
Just use double sided tape.
actually, i wanted to do the same thing in my dorm.and you can't use tacks without paying for every little holethose command strips work amazing! I used the poster onesthey don't fall down, they stay pretty flush to the wall, and they're easily removed without ruining the wall or your paper!
No, the cookies will spread out too much and the bottoms will burnThe shiny surface of the aluminum foil will reflect heat, and cause the bottoms to burn while the rest of the cookie is rawCookies are better off without the aluminum foilI bake cookies all the time, and most recipes will call for an UNGREASED baking sheetGreasing the pan causes them to spread outJust bake them on a cookie sheet without greaseDon't overbakeAllow the cookies less than one minute to cool on the baking sheet- any longer and they will be harder to get offGently scrape them off using a thin metal spatula (it should come off easily), and cool them on a rack to stop the baking processLeaving the cookies on a hot baking sheet to cool down will actually bake them more- causing them to get hard and crunchy.
