I don't really have any advice except to say that things happen for a reason. I was told one week by my boss I was real go getter and the next he fired me because I wasn't gelling. In all actuality I think they felt threatened by my presence. Now I have a different job with a great company and a terrific boss. To heck with it. It's a job, you know? God has a plan. Move on. You have everything you need, as long as the needle is sterile. I wouldn't use the numb cream because it's important to know if you are really hurting yourself. Not to mention it's not sterile and can infect your piercing. Just mark with a skin pen where you want the piercings and try to keep the needle straight as you push through. You can put a cotton ball on the other side of your lip to make sure you don't hurt your gums.
