does anyone know if this camera charger is a one where you place the battery inside then on the wall or a chord you plug into your camera? and where to buy it if you know.

Every Canon charger I have seen has a chord. It is a much cheaper way for them to cover the different power outlets in different countries - ie everyone gets the same multi-voltage charger, just include a different chord.
