Capilano suspension bridge construction method/ sequence ?
nowadays for a cable suspended bridge the 1st two cables are delivered to the other Column (Tower) using a Helicopter , it's a very interesting procedure followed by a celebration usuallyafter that a machine (mainly wheels ) is attached to those cables in order to install the rest of the cables ( this is called the catenary ) it just keeps going coming rolling thousands of Kilometers of cables dailybecthis catenary contains few 10 thousands cables in it's cross section because IT IS THE BRIDGE after that the ties dropping from the catenary are installed then the deck of the bridgeThose cable suspended bridges are the state of the art in the bridge bldg industry , longest spans are reached using this technique and the longest one now is the japanese akashi koyoko , ( i might have miss-spelled it) Edit : I'm sorry , that what happens when i read the Q w/o looking at the picture , i realised it as the cable suspended bridges that i know how to design.don't u want to build one from ur home to ur work.it'll just cost you few millions .but u'll save gas.u know:D
