Question:

Car alarm goes off in middle of night - help!?

Our car alarm has started going off in the middle of the night for no reason. Using the remote to unlock and then lock again works for the moment but then it starts again. The one LCD remote that we have shows a hammer hitting the front side of the car which, I assume, means that it thinks the car is being vandalized but it is not. Can anyone help us figure this out?

Answer:

theres probably something wrong with it, talk to the manufacturer
HI A lot of things can set them off. just a car with loud pipes can rumble past your car and set it off. You might see if you can turn the sensitivity up/down so it don't go off when a car goes by If it hap pends around the same time every night I'd bet its a car going by. stay up some night and see good luck tim
Disable the damn thing. Those things are known to go off for no reason now so most it does nothing more than make people angry and makes me want to steal from it even more than usual.
