I recently purches a used car from someone. and it had a aftermarket alarm system installed on it. it worked fine and dandy till my brother did some repairs to the moter and he took off the battery. when it was time to put the battery back on the car the alarm system went off we could not figure out how to fix it. so his friend took some fuses out from under my dash on the drivers side and it would not go off. but now i have no alarm system how do i fix it. please help me.
There should be a valet/override button on your alarm( it usually under the steering wheel or under the hood but you can follow the wire until you find a button). You had to put the fuses back in then turn the key twice ( don't turn the car on) then hold the button until the alarm stops beeping. Note: You might need to have the door closed .
