96 Camry - After market remote system. Panic alarm works from Remote Fob. But when opening/closing the door using remote, only lights flash but no honk or buzz. Is there a seperate horn for this than the main horn? Where would it be located? I never seen this working since I bought this car. So don‘t know it worked before. Any suggestions?
this could be one of a few things it could be a short in a wire from the alarm to the vehicle horn a bad relay loose connection at the horn itself the alarm system should be routed in a way that will hard wire it to your factory horn there is no special horn with any alarm system locate the factory horn and run a jumper wire off the battery if the horn doesn't sound it may be defective and need to be replaced outside of that check all the wiring relays and fuses good luck!!!
