I was just getting ready to install my new stereo and found that I needed a wiring harness. I've installed stereos before but never one that required a harness. Anyway, I found that in some cases, there are some wires on the harness without a match on the stereo end. (ie. The orange/white wire is on the harness but not on the other end of the connection) My question is, does this matter? Can I just leave those un-wired?
there,s a undemanding way of doing that. why don,t you pass to radio shack and get the plug-ins to your vehicle. that way all you do is hook the wires from the plug-ins to the wires from the stereo, tape them up and plug them into the producing facility harness plug-ins.
leave them un wired or check the instructions to see what there for
Yup, some of those wires dont have matches for certain cars. ie. the dimmer or power antennae, ect.
