I plugged in my card reader for my camera. It used to work fine but now whenever I plug it in, a little icon in the bottom-right corner pops open saying Safely Remove Hardware when I roll over it. When I click it, it's just telling me that I can stop using this device at anytime.Nothing pops up when I put my camera card into the card reader that's plugged into a USB port. I'm not sure what to do. Is there anyway I can make the option pop up saying to upload my pictures? It used to do it by itself but it isn't anymore.Please help me.
Plug it in, when it shows the Safely Remove Hardware, actually click on those words. Then when it says you may now remove, remove, then retry plugging back in. hope this helps
Did you recently change SD cards from 2GB to 4GB? Some card readers physically can't read the 4GB cards, there's nothing wrong with them, they were just designed to read the 2GB ones. Buy another card reader that can read the 4GB cards.
