Question:

Careers in the military that don't involve repairing or using large machinery?

I'm interested in going into the military, but I don't like working with heavy machinery (engines, planes, etc.)

Answer:

There's JAG. the biggest piece of equipment you will use is a copier.
Weather forecastor, military police, security forces, infantry, base ops, command post, medical, Space operations.
You can push paper. Working in logistics and management positions. You can cook. There are Many other jobs to chose from. The military needs people to run all aspects of their endeavors. They do almost everything for themselves short of manufacturing and providing raw materials.
Most jobsd do not involve working with heavy machinery
The majority of jobs in the military do no involve repairing anything. Most jobs also don't involve using large machinery. A lot of jobs, especially in the Army, could find you assigned to a light unit with no machinery at all, or a mechanized unit with tanks and all that. But even still unless your MOS is one that specifically applies to one of those about the only large machinery you're likely to be involved in using would be a 5 ton truck. Which you could get in any MOS. Even cooks have trucks to haul their filed kitchens and stuff around, that are driven by the cooks.....
