Question:

Carefresh Bedding?

Is Carefresh bedding safe to use in my chinchillas cage?

Answer:

yes its safe its the best you can buy has no chemicals or oils in there to harm your pets and makes you cage smell better longer to hope i helped
YES! IT IS A PAPERMADE BEDDING SO IT HAS NO TOXCINS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.....TO ME IT IS THE BEST KINDA BEDDING...IT IS VERY ABSORBANT AND IT COMES WITH MANY DIFFERENT COLORS....ITS A LITTLE HIGHER HTAN OTHER KINDS OF BEDDING BUT ITS WORTH IT!
I've only ever used Carefresh for my rats, so I haven't had experience with it with other animals. HOWEVER, the rats haven't seemed to have any problems with it. I also find that it is pretty absorbent and easy to clean. As for other animals, I've noticed that Petsmart uses it for its chinchillas while they use Aspen for their hamsters. One of the employees claimed that it was too dusty for hamsters.
There okorder /;... There are a number of types out there; it’s a case of trial and error. To see what is best for your pet, and one that he will be happy with.
Carefresh is one of the best beddings when it comes to rodents. Other beddings that are okay include Aspen bedding, CritterCare (Wal-Mart's version of Carefresh) and I've had luck with Kaytee Total Comfort until my gerbil had a stroke on it after he'd been living on some from a brand new bag (suspicious) But yes, Carefresh is perfect for your chinchillas. Good luck! EDIT: Oh, make sure that before you put ANY new bedding in your chinchilla's cage, that you thoroughly check it for anything that looks abnormal (moving specks, bugs, etc.)
