Question:

carpet cleaners?

cleaning the carpet

Answer:

There are a lot of companies who will clean your carpet for a reasonable price. Coit Services is one of the most popular and respectable companies and has been for over 50 years. I recommend calling them and seeing about getting a Free In-Home Estimate and than see if the price fits your budget. They are constantly running discount in the newspaper or radio, and you could always go online and set up an appointment there if it is more convienent.
rent one of those machine things
..is there a stain ? ..if you just want it cleaned..because you want to clean it then you can just vacumm it, but if there is a stain or a bad oudor..then look for someone who can clean it proffesionally.
Add 1/2 cup of bleach for unbleachables to your carpet detergent. Add fleecy to the rinse water, it helps repel dirt. The bleach adds a boost to the detergent. If you don't want to pay as much for the detergent, ammonia (non-sudsy) works pretty good. If you are buying a shampooer the bissel canister is the one that was recommended to me. I find it pretty good.
If you are going to rent one get the rug doctor, don't buy their cleaning products they are too expensive, use Bissell, be sure to rinse the carpet well with clean water in the shampooer. If you are going to buy a shampooer I would get a Hoover Dual V, they work great and the carpet dries fast.
