I am looking into buying a good carpet cleaning machine. I have looked at some brands like Bissel (spelling?)... and Hoover. Anyone know anything about them or own one? Are the supplies for them expensive? I also want something that wont leave a residue. Thanks for any help!
the main suitable ingredient I definitely have discovered is clorox 2 it cleans each little thing that a gadget cant get to, i exploit it on my furnishings and likewise on my vehicle carpet in my vehicle, i mixed it with little or no water and scrub the stain with a fabric, then blot it dry, tada,it leaves a great clean scent too!!
my husband bought me the bissel that heats the water it wasnt much just over two hundred dollars and i find that it works really well, the cleaners for them dont cost too much either they are carried at walmart, zellers, most stores
Renting a rug doctor's the best way to go, commercial quality equipment without having to buy it. Otherwise the bissell proheat series is good. Hoover not so great in my experience....
I had a Bissel and unfortunately it was dissapointing. The carpet stayed wet way to long and the hoses cracked. We only used a couple of times and it was very frustrating. Ended up throwing away. We just rent a Rug Doctor from Home Depot when we need it. It's only around $25 for 24 hours and it's industrial so it is like what the professionals use. Also-no need to store it. As far as a Hoover, never used theirs but I hate their vacuums!
cleaning is my business, I've used all type of carpet machines and the best that I've found is the rug doctor. you can rent them or you can purchase one of them. i don't recommend you buying one unless you have a lot of carpet to clean all the time. its always best to spot clean your carpets before using a machine on them. resolve carpet cleaner is good and if you have blood stains or ink or grease try using lighter fluid that you use in lighters. be sure to blot any stain that might spread such as ink.
