Question:

Cat ate plastic wrapper?

My persian cat ate the plastic wrapper from a juice box straw is he gonna be okay? At first I thought he was playing with it so I left him alone but then he ate it! Is he going to be okay? ):

Answer:

yeah he will be fine my cat almost ate a string but i got it out of her( it was in her stomach!!!) yuc! she was fine if your cat seems sick or to have a tummy ache take him to the vet
it would desire to harm her yet you will no longer know until she starts off to demonstrate warning signs of a porblem like an intestinal obstruction. warning signs would desire to inlcude lethargy, loss of urge for nutrition, vomiting/regurgitating, generalized melancholy and belly soreness. it particularly is extremely lifelike to attend and notice if your cat will become sick - the wrapper would alright bypass with out situation. stable success
Its sure not safe for anyone even us to eat plastic, keep an eye on her for sure to see if she has problems passing her bowel movements. Also to be safe call you VET monday morning and ask her this is a question they need to answer.. I sure wouldn't trust anyone Else's answers with out a solid back up.. you know? GOOD LUCK
Some cats do eat plastic. It could pass through no problem. BUT it could also cause an obstruction somewhere in their digestive tract or it could cause the cat to vomit it back up and thus possible damaging their esophagus with the rough plastic edges--if so then see your vet. You need to monitor your cat and make sure it is eating, drinking and defecating normally. You should keep all plastic out of your cat's reach.
