Question:

Central And Space Heating?

How are these heating systems differ from each other?

Answer:

Central Heating runs from a boiler and circumbabulates hot water/steam around pipes in the house to radiators. God knows what the other one is. I might have to call All Round Heating Services now to find out!
Space heating is when a heater is designated to a specific room. Central heating is when you have a furnace that distributes heat via vents throughout your entire home.
A Central unit heats (or cools) the entire house. A Space heater warms a small space, usually 1 room.
Central heating is also known as forced air heating. This is where your centrally located furnace (hence the name central heating) heats air in a heat exchanger within the furnace and blows it throughout the house through a series of ducts and vents. Space heating is where you have a heat source (like a little heater/blower that you plug into the wall) that is meant to just heat up the room or space that it's sitting in. Space heating is okay is you have a relatively small area or single room you want to heat. But, central heating is much more efficient for a whole house.
