HiIm Getting My Braces On Soon and id Like To Here From Anyone Currently in Them Or That Had ThemDo Ceramic Braces Break Easily-er Than Metal?Do Tend To Stain Easily?Does Treatment Time Take Longer in Ceramic Even if i Had Just The 6 Front Top Teeth Ceramic and the Rest Metal? And Last Of All Which is Better In-Ovation Or Damon? Thanks In Advance :)

Answer:

unplug the battery for at leat 30 seconds, and your ecm should reset
You have to go to the Volkswagon dealer. For sure. It has happened to me twice with different makes.
I have braces and mine are metal, they dont stain, mine have never broke in the 10 months that i have had them. I wouldnt get ceramic and metal because it will hurt more to kind of have 2 procedures
Ceramic ones do break easier, because they are more brittle than metal ones. I don't think they stain, but you may want to ask the orthodontist to be sure (: From what i know, ceramic braces and metal braces have about the same treatment time, so it would be fine to have a mixture if you really wanted it. I think they are both supposed to work better than regular metal ones, but In-Ovations are self-ligating, so i think they make treatment faster(: I hope this helped, goodluck!
