Question:

changing batteries in the smoke detector works for only two weeks.?

Starts beeping again. Battery is hot. I think that something is wrong?

Answer:

Either put out the fire or put in new batteries. Even fire alarms hooked to the household electrical supply have batteries as back-up. The units will beep when the battery charge gets low. New batteries will solve your problem. They will be 9 volt batteries.
If the CO2 snow didn't give your scalp frostbite (by perhaps getting held against your scalp by your hair), you'll be fine. You exhale CO2 with every breath, so it's not toxic to you in small quantities/low concentrations. The main hazards with CO2 extinguishers are frostbite, and if used in a confined area, suffocation. You may have a ghost in your house. Booooo!!!!!
papokun the alarms have backup batteries and they need replacing , 9volt very simple and easy to do do it bro
That indicates that the battery is dying. Change it and the beeping will no longer haunt you.
