Question:

Check engine light keeps turing on and off?

It‘s been doing this for a few months and the 2nd time I took it to AutoZone to get it checked out and they said nothing is wrong. After that it stopped an then a few weeks later it started again. Iv noticed it only happens when I am on the interstate and it only flashes a few times then cuts off.

Answer:

Yes you have to balance new tires. They are rarely in balance. Could have a faulty rim. Best way is to spin balance them. Then you can look for unevern tires or bent rims.
Not necessary - if you NEVER drive over 30 mile per hour.
Do you want to replace your tires again in a few months? If not you will want to get them balanced. Might as well get the alignment checked too. Its a small price to pay considering the price of tires.
Could be a function of your gas cap seal. Check to see if you have an after market cap.
Auto Zone is by far the worst store to take your car to have a fault memory read on your computer. Auto Zone's electronic equipment isn't detailed enough to read exactly what is causing the check engine light fault. Flashing, on and off check engine lights are the ones which should be checked by the dealer of the car. These are ones which will cause damage to the emissions system and engine. Would like to actually help you but you forgot to list the exact brand, model and year of the car. We also need the fault code off the memory in your computer on the car.
