Question:

chili from the carpet?

how can i remove a chili stain from my carpet?

Answer:

I've had pasta sauce spilled into my carpet a few times and I used either tide and water or resolve... take a little elbow grease but it gets it out
Try using Tuff Stuff yellow can you can buy it Walmart. Can also be used for your vehicle, i think that that is the aisle it is located in. I have two toddlers and they are spilling food or drinks in there rooms. Its a white foam that comes out grab a damp cloth a scrub comes right up. I used to work at a dry cleaners and was always told that you should never apply water to a surface to get a stain out first without treating it with a chemical first it makes the stain set in and may not come out, don't know if this is true or not haven't done it. Good Luck hope this works.
Get out all the food then with water go over until just the stain of the chili sauce is left then pour some clorox2 for colors on the stain let sit this will lift the stain then you need to rinse a carpet shampooer works really well if you have one or can borrow one.good luck.
After you try what you think is right... dilute 1/2 cup oxiclean in 2 cups warm water, mix up till disolved then pore on carpet till you've soaked the stain area put a white towle on it and step on it so it's set there. Then let stay there overnite. in the morning pick up the towel and stain is gone. If stubborn stain do the process again.
