Answer:

You will cut right through the aluminum foilI would try wax paperHow about just cutting them on a cookie sheetIt won't matter if you put some scratches on those.
get a cutting board, u can cut up the counter if you are not using anything but make sure you wash down the counter with disenfectent like bleach if you are just going to use the counter, aluminum foil you can use it but make sure you don't cut through the foil
I wouldn't use aluminum foil, Try a newspaper covered with a sheet of wax paperThat way if it cuts through the wax paper it will just cut the newspaper.
NoHave no idea what you are cutting, but try wax paper.
As the previous answerer stated, you need to use a double boiler or a pot with water, and a bowl on top of it with the chocolate chips and little butter in itI use a metal bowl, and hold it with an oven mitt while I stir constantly You can also put the chocolate and butter in a microwave safe dish and microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, and keep repeating that until it's all meltedThen dip what you want into it and allow to cool on a piece of parchment paper or aluminum foilUse semi-sweet chocolate chips, not milk chocolate.
