Question:

Cold air intake grand am?

Ok i have a 2004 Pontiac Grand am Se. I want to get a cold air intake because short ram doesn‘t do anything except blow hot air. But i can see that the cold air intake is located by the fender. If you hit a puddle wouldn‘t the cold air intake suck water in then?????? That‘s the only thing im worried about because my grand am only has 40,000 miles on it and i don‘t want the engine to floodPlease help!!!! and Does anybody know any other intakes that are good for Pontiac grand amAlso Does anybody know any places that will install the intake because i have no clue how to do it Thanks

Answer:

check the fuse and if that is ok check the wiring to the wiper motor.
I would say a bad windshield motor.
check the fuse could be the wiper motor broke
this **** has been asked everyday and the answer is the same. a simple kn air filter minus the stock air silencer will do just as a good job a cai would. cai is just to look fancy under the hood. your only gonna gain 1 hp for that 100 or more bucks, while 50 buck air filter does the same.
AEM or KN sounds good, however the main concern to me here is if there is any bolt on kit for that car, I am sure it wont have a great support, therefore you will have to custom it, you should get something cheap, a Cold Air Intake is not more than a tube in a filter, and give very minimal if any gains, so dont be too worry. You can use a car performance simulator[1] to virtually do any tune on your Grand Am and see how it would perform after that to see how it improves
