Question:

Cold air intake on Hybrid?

I have a 2003 Honda Civic HYBRID and I was thinking about getting cold air intake. Since my car is a hybrid, would getting cold air intake mess anything up? Because I mean it was made to save gas and I would hate for something little like that to mess everything up. So anyone that knows a lot about cars could you please help me out? Would cold air intake mess anything up, not work since it is a hybrid, or work perfectly fine and not mess anything up?Oh, and what‘s some other things I could maybe do to my car as well?

Answer:

2003 Honda Civic Cold Air Intake
It shouldn't affect the car, unless you install it wrong. When installing the Intake, you should unplug the battery and allow the car to adjust to the new air intake settings. The cold air intake can either save you gas or rob you of it. Depends on if you want to go fast, accelerate to hear the deep throaty sound of the intake, or just drive slow and easy pased. The car has a limit to how much air it takes in, so the intake wouldn't affect the car in any way. Just install it correctly.
if you get the job I'd be surprised , but they may take the time to educate you , lets hope for the best
