Question:

Connect vista laptop to Ubuntu Linux desktop for internet?

Can i make a bridge connection from vista to ubuntu linux? Also, i have an xp laptop, would that work as well? If so, please tell me how! Thank you!

Answer:

Use Linux for the bridgeInstall the bridge utils packageYou'll have to reboot the Ubuntu machineAlso dual homing Linux is quite simple while dual homing windoze can be fraught with perilSo again Linux will be a much better choice You'll also want to install and configure SquidOnly glanced at the two links I included but at a glance they look reasonably detailed and will at least get you startedI've never done this with Ubuntu but it was mostly painless doing this with FedoraI doubt Ubuntu would be much more difficult.
I'm not sure I understand your question, maybe you should add a clarificationDo you mean what are the requirements to make sure there is access in terms of construction or the Fair Housing Law?
