Question:

Cookie sheet question?

How often do you have to replace your cookie sheets? I swear I have to every 3 months. I've tried different brands of non-stick and they get scratched, turn practically black, they just go bad. I'm just curious how often other people replace theirs. Thanks, all!

Answer:

I generally wrap up, but not so it'll prevent scrapes. In fact there have been times when I've worn wraps and still ended up with skinned knuckles. Wraps are there to help compress the bones and soft tissue so that you lessen the chance of a sprain or break.
Of course first thing in mind would be to ground yourself so that you don't short anything. In order to do that just take hold of a metal object before you begin working with anything that has an open circuit which is basically everything in your computer. Secondly you don't want to work anywhere that can create static electricity such as on a carpet or such things. I would advise you work on wood, marble, or something of the sort. Next, most of your computer components should come in anti-static bags, I suggest you don't take them out of that bag until you need to, and when you take them out, let those parts rest on top of the anti-static bags. Basically just leave the parts on top of whatever packaging it came in would be the safest thing to do. As for yourself, be sure to handle everything carefully and never exert a lot of force into anything you do. Most things should fall into place easily, cables are sometimes a problem and are an exception but remember that too much force is a bad thing. Also if your case has sharp edges this might cause you to cut yourself, so be careful! -Don
