Cooking a cake in tin foil?

Okay so i am making this cakei needed it to be in a dome type shape, so i lined a strainer bowl with tinfoil, put the tinfoil mold onto a 9 inch round pan, and put tinfoil around the mold to help it keep its shapeIs the outside going to burn or something? i'm just not entirely sure how this is going to work.any help would be awesome!
